Wheat biscuits
Wheat biscuits are a kiwi favourite for a reason. They are a cheap, filling breakfast kids love.
Wheat biscuits are low in sugar and high in fibre to keep kids fuller for longer and give them a real head-start. Add a banana or some fresh or canned fruit for added goodness.
Great as an after-school snack too. Check out our wheat biscuit sandwich idea too.
At less than 50-cents for 2 wheat biscuits and ½ cup milk it’s a great-value breakfast.

Rating = 5 out of 5 stars
Note:
- 1 teaspoon = 4 grams sugar (rounded to nearest ½ teaspoon)
- We’ve used stars to rate some common breakfast foods and drinks. More stars equals a healthier option. If a food has 5 stars, then it is one of the best breakfast options. While if a food has no stars or 1 star, then it is one of the least healthy.
