What breakfast is best?

Flavoured milk

While flavoured milk has the goodness of protein and calcium that plain milk does, it also tends to have large amounts of added sugar and come in large serving sizes.

Flavoured milk has about 2 times more sugar than regular milk - that's why flavoured milk is not recommended as the main source of milk for kids.

Tip: Dilute flavoured milk with plain milk (a half-half mix) – this makes it go further and decreases the amount of sugar in each glass.
